HoneyBaked Ham iPad Data Collection

About HoneyBaked Ham
HoneyBaked Ham stores offer specialty slice and glazed ham, as well as a wide variety of meats, ready-to-eat, homestyle side dishes, and desserts.

Goal / Objective
HoneyBaked Ham needed a more engaging platform to increase the collection of customer data, particularly email addresses. The company’s previous efforts using in-store signage QR codes resulted in the collection of fewer than 50 total email addresses over multiple stores.

As part of their new strategy, HoneyBaked Ham worked with Local Marketing, Inc. to promote the HoneyBaked Ham email program which sends localized store offers and news. Customers could sign up using an in-store iPad or via the Short Messaging Service (SMS). To engage customers and entice participation, customers who provided their information were entered into a sweepstakes to win HoneyBaked Ham for one year.

Results
Local Marketing, Inc. placed iPads in select stores throughout metro Atlanta for one week.

Local Marketing, Inc. collected the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of 654 customers via iPads and SMS.

Have you ever wanted access to the most fashionable people’s closets? Well then, let me introduce you to your new best friend, Indi Park, who opens the doors to the most glamorous, enviable closets in the world. This e-commerce website (coming to you Spring 2013) allows users to sell and shop for new, pre-owned, vintage, and high end label clothes and accessories. Plus their blog keeps users in touch with some of the hottest new trends hitting the streets.

Local Marketing Inc. is elated to help bring this site to life and stopped by their pre-launch party which was held at the very posh spot – the Ritz Carlton Residences. Amongst some of the most successful, beautiful Atlanta residents, owner and founder, Cheryl Taylor, got the crowd pumped about her new site launching from their own home town of Atlanta that will connect fashion globally. A beautiful display of handbags, jewelry, shoes, and clothes adorned the tables in the room. Plus Cheryl, threw a little fun personality in the signature drink of the night – Cheryl’s Purple Passion (vodka, sweet and sour, blue curacao, grenadine, and pineapple juice) and the 401K (the previous recipe with a punch more vodka).

The attendees’ excitement for Indi Park will soon be multiplied when this easily accessible site filled with luxury hits the web. Start pulling those luxury items you’re willing to let go of to make space for something equally luxurious. When this site hits open access to the globe, you’ll want to be first in line to get your dream piece at a much more reasonable cost.
